Inspired by the aesthetics and ethos of a variety of subcultures and societal fringes, my work comments on beauty from the perspective of being othered. I embrace vulnerability, often exploring heavy themes but emerging into a place of hope for the future.  I aim to bring levity and beauty to troubling topics by juxtaposing aesthetics with content.  Out of a deep respect for the power of the written word, I incorporate text into my work allowing my imagery to compliment the message. Altogether my work is informed by a sense of resilience.
